During this Spring Holy Day season. Let's take time to reflect on the meaning of blood. All people of Christian and Jewish faiths alike recognize the meaning of blood in the sacrifical system. This was the blood that symblolized the life of an animal. So as an animal, and then ultimately our Savior, was sacrificed, the blood had the greatest meaning. For when the blood was first present, from the mother, life began. And so too, when blood is fully shed, so a life ends.
